Rena Dor; Actress Revered in Greece

Rena Dor, 83, a Greek theater actress for more than four decades. Dor, whose real name was Rena Yiannatou, was widely known by her stage name. Born in Patra, Greece, in 1917, she toured Egypt as a dancer in her early teenage years. In 1935, she became a member of the Union of Greek Actors and subsequently took part in revues, operettas, musical comedies and plays. Dor last appeared on stage in 1978.
