Despite a 36-20 edge in shots, the Ice Dogs fell to the Kansas City Blades, 4-3, on Saturday night at the Long Beach Arena.
The Ice Dogs were unable to capitalize on any of their eight power-play opportunities.
Michal Pivonka had a goal and an assist for Kansas City, with Dave Chyzowski scoring the goal that gave the Blades a 4-2 lead at 12:43 of the third period on the power play.
