Chapman Rallies to Win in Baseball

Eric Albright and Jude Chavez homered as Chapman defeated Massachusetts-Dartmouth, 8-5, in a nonconference baseball game Monday at Hart Park.

Chapman (10-1) scored three runs in the seventh and another in the eighth to take an 8-5 lead.

Garrett Shourds and Albright then shut down Massachusetts-Dartmouth over the final 2 2/3 innings. Shourds got the victory to improve to 2-0 and Albright earned his fourth save.

In nonconference men’s tennis:

Oklahoma City 6, Vanguard 3--Olli Helminen and Stefan Johansson won in doubles, 8-4, for Vanguard (9-1).
