In another San Fernando Valley tournament game:

Valencia 3, Chaminade 2--Ricky Aceves’ two-out single in the eighth inning drove in the winning run at Valencia.

The Vikings (6-0) trailed, 2-1, but tied the score on Danny Braun’s bases-loaded ground out in the seventh.

Josh Wilkinson allowed two hits and one run in four innings of relief for Valencia, ranked No. 10 in the region by The Times.

Chaminade (5-2) is ranked No. 9.

In other games:

St. John Bosco 8, Calabasas 6--Jesse Michel had two hits and two RBIs for the Coyotes, who squandered a 6-3 lead in a 10-inning nonleague defeat.

St. John Bosco tied the score, 6-6, on a two-out, three-run home run in the seventh off Tony Sulser and took the lead on a two-out, two-run single in the 10th off John Henry.

Calabasas (5-2-1) loaded the bases with two out in the 10th, but Mike Armacost struck out swinging.

The Coyotes rallied from a 3-1 deficit with five runs on five hits in the sixth.

Arizona-bound Sulser struck out 12 in nine innings, allowing three earned runs, eight hits and one walk.

El Dorado 4-1, Hart 3-3--The Indians scored two runs in the fifth on Brandon Montemayor’s single and a balk to win the second game and salvage a split at Hart.

Hart is defending Southern Section Division II champion and El Dorado is defending Southern Section Division II champion.

Bill Susdorf earned his first save for Hart (6-2), allowing one hit and striking out three.

Matt Friedrichsen of Hart struck out with the bases loaded to end the first game.

Paraclete 7-0, St. Bonaventure 3-5--Tucker Bennett (2-0) pitched a four-hitter and hit a solo home run to help the Seraphs (4-1-1) gain a split at St. Bonaventure.

Jack Swisher had two hits and three RBIs for St. Bonaventure.

In the opener, Jason Brown pitched a four-hitter and struck out 12 for Paraclete.
