The Planning Commission unanimously backed a request to install speed bumps on Via Grande.
Residents requested the bumps as part of their effort over the past few years to slow down cars cutting through the Granada neighborhood to avoid traffic on Crown Valley Parkway.
The commission recommended that the City Council consider installing speed bumps on Via Grande from La Sierra to 950 feet south of the intersection with Mallorca.
