Chocs Full o’ Toffee

Mrs. Weinstein, the toffee queen of Santa Barbara, has long had requests for a toffee without nuts. Her response is Toffolos: chocolate candies about three times the size of an M&M; with nuggets of toffee in the middle. Some are enrobed in dark chocolate, some in milk chocolate, and the marbled ones that look like dinosaur eggs are swathed in dark, milk and white. They come in sample boxes and plastic cubes holding 3/4 pound and 1 1/2 pounds.
