Mayor Steven C. Anderson will host the city’s 18th annual La Habra Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast on Thursday morning in conjunction with the 49th annual National Day of Prayer.
City officials invite residents of all faiths to join the Pray2K, America’s Hope for the New Millennium, which will focus on community leadership as this year’s theme.
The Kiwanis Club is sponsoring the breakfast, which begins at 6:15 a.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Community Services Center, 101 W. La Habra Blvd. U.S. Air Force Col. Nimrod McNair, author and NASA advisor, will be the keynote speaker during the two-hour breakfast.
