In the Freeway League finals:

Troy wins--Katrina Go won the 100 (12.6) and 200 (26.4) and anchored the winning 400 relay as Troy easily beat La Habra and Sunny Hills for the title.

In the Garden Grove League:

Krause leads Pacifica--Christine Krause won the 1,600 (5:35.36) and 3,200 (12:26.81) and ran on the winning 1,600 relay (4:27.64) as Pacifica won the league finals, with Garden Grove second and Rancho Alamitos third.

In the Golden West League:

Santa Ana wins--Matale Lualemaga won the shot put (38-6 1/2) and discus (119-1 1/2), and Naemi Fuentes won the 800 (2:26.07) and 1,600 (5:23.69) for Santa Ana.

In the Olympic League:

Orange Lutheran wins--Rebecca Rogers won the shotput (33-20 and discus (113-9 1/2) for the first-place Lancers. Maranatha was second, Calvary Chapel third.

In Empire League boys’ finals:

Katella wins--At Santa Ana College, the Knights won with 151 points, ahead of Cypress (133) and Kennedy (73). Katella senior Kenny Vinh won the 110 hurdles (14.52) and the 300 hurdles (38.77).

In the Freeway League:

Troy wins--Geoff Smith of Troy tied the league record in the 100 (10.8) and set a league record in the 200 (22.2). The 400 relay team of Steve Harris, Sean Christensen, Brandon Shelby and Smith ran a league-record 43.2.

In the Garden Grove League:

White sets two records--Garden Grove’s Rashad White broke two league records, winning the 100 (11.06) and the 200 (23.01). Chris Naughton won the 110 hurdles (16.03) and the 300 hurdles (41.37) for Pacifica, which won championship. Garden Grove was second and Rancho Alamitos third.

In the Golden West League:

Smith leads Tustin--Tustin’s Alonso Smith won the 400 meters (51.17) and 800 meters (1:56.60). Teammate Michael Colby won both the 110 high hurdles (15.12) and the 300 intermediate hurdles (40.80).

In the Sea View League:

Jones leads Newport Harbor--The Sailors won the team title behind Trevor Jones, who set a meet record of 37.42 in the 300 hurdles, won the 110 hurdles (14.76) and 100 dash (11.22) and ran a 47.9 anchor leg for the winning 1,600 relay (3:21.39).
