The ‘Party’s’ Over

I have admired “Party of Five” for being persistent (“It’s a Goodbye ‘Party’ for the Salingers,” by William Keck, May 3). Throughout 142 episodes, Matthew Fox never learned how to shave.

In Keck’s article, he refers to the family being forced “to make endless acts of attrition.” I think the word he’s searching for is “contrition.” We’ll chalk this one up to a typo. No contrition necessary.
