Beauty Goes Deeper Than One’s Looks

Poor Cindy Jackson. So 27 surgeries and $100,000 later (“Beauty That’s No Mystery,” March 30), she finally feels like men notice her. Men may be attracted initially to appearances (the hyperfemale look), but as that initial attraction begins to fade, and it will, what is left but the shallow person who believed that looks are everything? Beauty is still fleeting, but brains and integrity are forever.
