CYPRESS
At a recent City Council meeting, donors to the 2000 Tree Donation Project were recognized for their contributions and their commitment to the environment. Eighteen donations, including $625 from local business Software Design Group, will go toward enlarging the community’s tree population. The project began in 1990 and is sponsored by the Friends of Cypress Recreation and Park. Since then, 193 trees have been donated.
