Miami Heat point guard Tim Hardaway did not practice Monday but still plans to play tonight and the rest of the series against the New York Knicks despite a sore left foot.

Hardaway played 30 minutes and had six points, seven assists and three turnovers in his first game since April 16. He was one for six from three-point range.

Lionel Hollins, an assistant coach for the Vancouver Grizzlies since their first season in 1995-96 and interim head coach for the final 60 games this season, was fired.

New owner Michael Heisley is expected get the long-delayed final approval of his $160-million purchase from the NBA on Wednesday, when he is scheduled to hold a news conference in Vancouver to confirm Dick Versace as new president of basketball operations, Billy Knight as general manager and Tony Barone as director of player personnel.

The Grizzlies had an 18-42 record under Hollins after he took over from Brian Hill, who was fired after a 4-18 start.
