O’Leary Named CEO of IStarXchange.com

Edward J. O’Leary has been named chief executive officer of Irvine-based IStarXchange.com, overseeing the development of an electronic marketplace to serve the $100-billion automotive replacement parts market.

The company was formed earlier this year by Toyota Motor Sales USA in Torrance and I2 Technologies Inc. in Dallas.

O’Leary, who has 23 years of domestic and international executive experience, most recently served with Federal Mogul Inc. as vice president, sales and distribution.

Prior to that he was executive vice president, sales and marketing of Cooper Automotive. O’Leary began his career with the Monroe Auto Equipment Co., where he held various management positions.

* William Rosenbaum has been named vice president, general merchandise manager of young men’s wear for Pacific Sunwear of California Inc. in Anaheim. Rosenbaum had been men’s merchandise manager for Kmart, and before that he was merchandise manager for Abercrombie and Fitch.

* David M. Carlson has been elected chairman of the Orange County Audit Oversight Committee, which was created as a result of the county’s bankruptcy. Carlson is president and chief executive of Sagence Systems Inc. in Newport Beach.

* Patti Hart has joined the board of directors of Mariner Networks, a subsidiary of Odetics Inc. in Anaheim. She is president and chief executive of Telocity Inc. in Anaheim. Before that, Hart was president and chief operating officer of Sprint’s Long Distance division.

* Gerald K. Tanaka has been named to the newly created position of executive vice president and chief operating officer for Marie Callender’s Pie Shops Inc. in Orange. He had been senior vice president of operations and franchise services.
