Grace Brethren 10, Faith Baptist 0--Tim Thompson earned his state-record 52nd career victory with a one-hitter and Jackson Beauchamp drove in four runs on two hits to help the host Lancers (19-4, 10-0) clinch their third consecutive Heritage League title.

The game was called after five innings because of the 10-run rule.

“It feels good to accomplish such a big goal,” said Thompson (13-2), who is nursing a hip injury. “I’ve thrown better, but my curveball was working. I started aggravating the hip injury, so I was just trying to gut it out. That’s what you have to do this time of year.”

Faith Baptist (13-6, 7-2) committed five errors that led to four unearned runs.

Highland 18, Antelope Valley 7--Jason Kubel hit his 12th home run and finished with five runs batted in for the Bulldogs (18-6, 10-4) in a Golden League game at Antelope Valley called after five innings because of the 10-run rule.

In his last three games, Kubel has five home runs and 18 RBIs. John Santor had three doubles and two RBIs.

Littlerock 12, Palmdale 2--Delwyn Young had a three-run home run and finished with four RBIs to lead visiting Littlerock (4-19, 1-13). Palmdale (18-5, 12-2) had already clinched the Golden League title.

St. Bonaventure 12, Oak Park 4--Mark Neumeister had three hits and three RBIs, and the Seraphs (17-3-1, 10-1) clinched the Tri-Valley League title at Saticoy Park.

Royal 7, Simi Valley 1--Brian Lipman hit his 11th home run, tying the school record he set last season, for host Royal (16-10, 5-6) in a Marmonte League game.

Lipman has 30 career home runs, the second-best mark in region history behind Scott Sharts of Simi Valley, who hit 32 homers from 1986-88.

Thousand Oaks 14, Moorpark 0--Travis Rice hit a grand slam and the Lancers (19-6, 9-2) won a Marmonte League game called after five innings because of the 10-run rule at Moorpark (14-10, 3-8).
