After a Year Off, Animal Fair Returns

Share

After a year’s absence, the Hart Park Animal Fair will return next Sunday, with more than 10,000 people expected to attend the daylong event, organizers said.

Visitors will get a chance to enjoy pony rides, games for children, live entertainment, visit a petting zoo and eat plenty of food, said spokeswoman Juanita Heinly. The event is sponsored by the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation. Admission is free with a minimal charge on some activities and rides, officials said.

The event could not be held last year because of construction at William S. Hart County Park, Heinly said.
