Trimedyne Inc.

The Irvine surgical laser manufacturer reported a second-quarter net loss of $765,000, or 7 cents a share, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $1.1 million, or 10 cents a share. Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 declined 29% to $1.5 million. The company attributed the drop to a delay in starting sales and shipments of a new laser.
