Dog Facility for Oxnard

* The city of Oxnard is planning to develop 50 acres of land at College Park. At the first public forum I requested that a dog park be included in the plans.
Dogs require exercise and socialization, just as people do. Dog parks are a way to accomplish this. Hundreds of dog parks exist in the U.S. but none in Ventura County.
I urge Ventura County dog owners who share my view to write to Oxnard City Manager Ed Sotelo, 305 W. Third St., Oxnard, 93030, or e-mail his office at karen.burnham@ci.oxnard.ca.us.
