Ventura Parcel Proposed for Park

* The city of Ventura has an opportunity to build a much needed community park at the corner of Telephone Road, Kimball Road and the 126 Freeway. This is an ideal location that is central to much of Ventura. The 90-acre parcel has great freeway access with the new Kimball overpass.

The park would include something for everyone, from ball fields to swimming, tennis, basketball, picnic areas, running bicycling, walking and a senior / community center. The city has saved more than $10 million to initiate the project.

Everyone agrees Ventura is desperately short of park space. Let’s support the park.
