YORBA LINDA
Council members voted 4 to 0 Tuesday to have the city build and operate a multimillion-dollar golf course at the base of Chino Hills.
The council authorized the sale of about $16 million in bonds to finance the project, which includes the Black Gold Golf Course and clubhouse and spreads over 218 acres. The project is expected to cost about $21 million. Construction will begin next month. The council has issued $16 million in bonds to help pay for it.
