THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Thursday:

BREA

* East Birch Street: A burglary was reported in the 1700 block at 9:38 p.m. Wednesday.

* East Imperial Highway: A robbery was reported in the 1200 block at 10:12 p.m. Wednesday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Euclid Street and Westminster Avenue: Police were approached by a stabbing victim at 3:53 p.m. Saturday. Police transported the victim to UCI Medical Center. Although the victim had multiple stab wounds, they were not life threatening, police said. Witnesses later told police the victim had been fighting with another man in the area but neither the man nor the weapon was located.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Bern Drive: Two dogs were reported loose and allegedly chased a woman in the 3100 block at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. The dogs were not found.

* Hawthorne Road: A man was reported to be falsely collecting money for police and fire organizations in the 300 block at 1:11 p.m. Wednesday.

ORANGE

* The City Drive South: A petty theft was reported in the 500 block at 5:23 p.m. Wednesday.

PLACENTIA

* Swanee Avenue: A neighbor complained about a woman screaming in the 200 block at 9:57 p.m. Wednesday.

SAN CLEMENTE

* Avenida Victoria: A resident reported a loud party at a neighbor’s house in the 200 block at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday. The neighbor agreed to shut down the party.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Ortega Highway: Two 15-year-old girls were cited on suspicion of violating curfew near Interstate 5 at 12:30 a.m. Monday. One of the girls was also cited on suspicion of possessing tobacco.

VILLA PARK

* Santiago Boulevard: A petty theft was reported in the 17000 block at 4:12 p.m. Wednesday.

YORBA LINDA

* Alamo Lane: A petty theft was reported in the 19000 block at 6:27 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Irvine, La Habra, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Tustin and Westminster.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department makes incident reports available on the Web. Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s unincorporated areas.
