Some of the most talented senior table tennis players in the country will converge on Leisure World in June to compete for $14,000 in prize money.

The 11th annual Meiklejohn National Seniors Table Tennis Tournament, scheduled from June 2 through 4, is expected to draw nearly 200 people. It is open to players 40 years or older.

“Here at Leisure World, we’ve played a highly visible role in promoting the expansion of recreational table tennis,” said Olga Feingold Kahan, the tournament’s director.

Competitors will include former members of China’s national team.
