Low Clouds, Possible Drizzle Are Forecast
Low clouds, fog and a slight chance of drizzle are expected this morning along the Ventura County coast, the National Weather Service forecast Tuesday.
If it arrives, the wet stuff should be gone before 6 a.m., said Bruce Rockwell, a federal meteorologist in Oxnard. He said it would be partly sunny along the coast this afternoon with highs in mid-60s.
“It’s going to be cooler than it has been,” Rockwell said.
Inland cities and valleys that baked in the heat over the weekend will also cool down today and Thursday, Rockwell said. High temperatures in Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks were expected to be in the mid-70s.
Highs on Tuesday included 74 in Ojai, 73 in Oxnard, 78 in Simi Valley, 84 in Thousand Oaks and 68 in Ventura.
