The city is looking for money to build a bridge that will extend Avenida de las Banderas across the Eastern toll road and into the Town Center area. City Manager William Talley said city staffers are in the process of reviving the bridge project, which was originally included in the master plan for the community but was shelved by the county. The city has reclassified the road as an arterial highway in order to be eligible for funding from the Orange County Transportation Authority and the Transportation Corridor Agencies.
