Ever since the departure of member Dawn Robinson, En Vogue hasn’t sounded like the girl-group innovator it was for much of the ‘90s--and this isn’t the comeback album it needs to be. But, inspired by “Carmen Jones,” the trio does deliver one brilliantly biting track: “Those Dogs,” which is straight-up Bizet with a hip-hop twist.
