Memorial Day
Closings
Today marks Memorial Day, a day to honor and remember those who died in the nation’s wars.
* Government and business: All government offices, courts, banks, post offices, stock and commodity exchanges, libraries, schools and many businesses are closed. Only express mail will be delivered.
* Transportation: MTA buses will follow Sunday schedules and Metrolink trains will not run.
* Trash: City of Los Angeles trash collection agencies will maintain regular pickup schedules.
