Supervisors Name New County Auditor-Controller
LOS ANGELES —
The Board of Supervisors on Tuesday hired veteran auditor J. Tyler McCauley to be Los Angeles County’s new auditor-controller.
McCauley, currently the assistant auditor-controller, has worked in the office for more than 25 years. He was chosen from four finalists by the five county supervisors, to whom the auditor-controller reports.
In his new post, replacing retired auditor-controller Alan Sasaki, McCauley will earn $141,000 annually.
