* Family--Performances to Grow On will present the Utah-based Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company on Nov. 10 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza’s Scherr Forum, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. The troupe will stage its “Circle Cycle” production using hoops, balls, scarves and more than 200 slides to create a visual tapestry. * Art/Cuisine--Focus on the Masters will hold “A Taste for the Masters” fund-raiser Nov. 11 at 71 Palm Restaurant, Ventura. Participants will dine on French country cuisine prepared by chef Didier Poirier and view artworks by Michele Chapin, Richard Keit, Mary Kennedy, Gerd Koch and Teal Rowe. * Patriotic--The Ventura County Concert Band will present a tribute performance for veterans and members of the armed services Nov. 12 at Ventura High School Auditorium, 2155 E. Main St. Show times: 3 p.m. Free. 641-5116.

* Film Festival--The Ojai Film Festival will run Nov. 15-19, with screenings and related events taking place at various locations. The event, titled “Horizons Lost and Found: Enriching the Human Spirit Through Film,” will screen documentaries on international political conflicts, hate crimes, music, comedies, horror films, shorts and more.
