Our long national nightmare is finally over--or just beginning, depending on which candidate you supported. Either way, we no longer have to listen to George W. Bush and Al Gore begging for our vote.

So here are 10 things to do with our newfound freedom:

1. Visit the electoral college campus and find out if there’s still time to apply for financial aid.

2. Figure out who did let the dogs out. Put him in a lockbox.

3. Initiate a petition drive to prevent a Subway Super Bowl between the Jets and Giants.

4. Relive the magic of the 2000 election on C-Span.

5. Visit every Starbucks in your ZIP Code.

6. Plan a predawn raid on the U.S. attorney general’s office to extract Janet Reno.

7. Write the sequel to “Charlie’s Angels” casting Bill Clinton as Bosley.

8. Ride a Razor scooter across the country to raise money for a PlayStation 2.

9. Write your own state proposition--Prop. ME--declaring yourself King of California.

10. Prepare for the 2004 presidential election race, which begins today.
