2 Children Killed in Fire at Condo
Two children died in a fire that engulfed a two-story condominium in Inglewood Thursday night.
Firefighters responded to a call at 3500 W. Manchester Boulevard from an unidentified person who dialed 911 about 9 p.m. and then hung up, county Fire Capt. Brian Jordan said.
“We sent units to the scene and found the second-story fully involved,” he said. The bodies of two children, both 4 or 5 years old, were found. Their names and genders had not been released.
An investigation into the cause of the fire was continuing, he said.
