After muddling through Paul Brownfield’s inexplicably fawning non-profile of Adam Sandler (“Speak Softly and Carry a Big Shtick,” Nov. 5), one thing became clear: Brownfield has somehow confused “subversive” with “terrified of how he appears in print.”
