Union Bank Promotes 2 to Senior VP

Union Bank of California has promoted Jonathan Wright and John Chittenden to senior vice presidents at its Los Angeles headquarters. Wright is manager of fiduciary and investment programs for the wealth management division; Chittenden works in financial planning and analysis.

Fox Filmed Entertainment marketing chief Robert Harper was promoted to vice chairman of 20th Century Fox, adding oversight of such operations as film distribution, post-production and acquisitions to his duties.

Harper, who also will have the additional title of executive vice president of Fox Filmed Entertainment, will serve as a senior strategy advisor at the studio.

Distribution duties had been overseen previously by Tom Sherak, a longtime Fox executive who left the company in September to join Revolution Studios. Harper became president of Fox’s worldwide marketing in January 1998, where he headed campaigns for such films as “X-Men,” “Big Momma’s House” and “There’s Something About Mary.”

TVN Entertainment Corp., a digital content distributor and rights manager, appointed Sheldon Rabinowitz senior executive vice president and chief financial officer. Rabinowitz, formerly a finance executive at Sony Pictures Entertainment, will oversee TVN’s finance operations.
