Council members voted Tuesday to deny a claim for $250,000 brought against the city by a resident who allegedly suffered injuries after hitting a pothole while riding his bicycle. The alleged accident occurred in March 2000 in the 12800 block of Chapman Avenue.
Recommendations made by the traffic committee were postponed to the next meeting, Nov. 28. Those recommendations include installing time-limit parking on the Valley View Street service road from the northern city limit to the alley near a Vons; and along Santa Catalina Avenue from the 3800 block to Valley View Street.
