HUNTINGTON BEACH
Six Huntington Beach-area schools will receive a portion of the sales between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. today at local McDonald’s restaurants first annual Principals Night fund-raiser.
Each school’s principal and as many as 10 teachers will work at a local McDonald’s, greeting customers, working the registers and helping prepare food. Families of students and local school supporters are encouraged to visit local McDonald’s restaurants to help the cause.
The overall goal of the single-night fund-raising effort is to raise as much as $500,000 throughout Southern California.
Schools participating are Tamura, Moffett, Courreges and Huntington Seacliff elementary schools, Grace Lutheran Church and School and Spring View Middle School.
Participating McDonald’s locations in Huntington Beach are 16866 Beach Blvd., 6561 Edinger Ave., 20362 Beach Blvd., 18665 Beach Blvd., 5095 Warner Ave. and 19350 Goldenwest St.
