22-Year-Old Man Killed in Drive-By Shooting
KOREATOWN —
A drive-by shooting on South Mariposa Avenue left a 22-year-old man dead early Friday morning in what appeared to be a drug-related attack, police said.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Division responded to the scene at 4:50 a.m. and found the man lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene, said LAPD Officer Don Cox.
The victim’s name was not released and authorities had not found a weapon or identified suspects.
