Agoura 44, San Luis Obispo 34--Chris Denove completed 13 of 25 for 302 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Chargers (7-3-1) at San Luis Obispo (8-3).

It was the second time in three weeks that San Luis Obispo, which had appeared in the last two Division IV finals, has allowed an opponent 300 or more yards passing.

Agoura scored 17 unanswered points to put the game away in the second half.

Denove highlighted the outburst with an 88-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Grossbart and followed with a five-yard scoring pass to Geo Martin.

Matt Smooke’s 20-yard field goal gave Agoura a 38-21 cushion.

Running back Brad Altman complemented Denove, gaining 239 yards with two touchdowns in 29 carries. He scored on runs of 51 and 10 yards.

Agoura finished with 555 yards.

Scott Garrison kept the Tigers in the game, scoring 26 points.

Garrison scored on runs of 20, 27, one and four yards and also caught a two-point conversion. He rushed for 102 yards.
