A shortage of flu serum will prevent the city from offering flu shots at the free Health Fair on Nov. 30. City officials are unsure when the vaccine will be available. Seniors and caregivers of seniors are advised to call (562) 905-9708 before the Health Fair to determine whether the shots will be available.
Other services the Health Fair will offer are blood-pressure checkups, bone density and stroke screenings, hearing and body fat analysis, EKG rhythm analysis, podiatry and pulmonary function, chiropractic screenings and breast cancer assessments.
