PLACENTIA
The Orange North American Trade Rail Access Corridor Authority (OnTrac) board of directors has approved an agreement with Fullerton to perform a feasibility study for the Orangethorpe rail-lowering project.
The study will examine a depressed track/trench alternative and the standard grade separation for train tracks at Placentia Avenue, State College Boulevard, Acacia Avenue and Raymond Avenue.
Placentia was designated the lead agency for $28 million by Gov. Gray Davis that will go toward grade separation projects on the Orangethorpe Rail Corridor from the Los Angeles County line to Santa Ana Canyon. Information: Chris Becker at (714)993-8245.
