Channel Islands Ballet Receives $15,000

* Daniel and Felicia Schoenewald, founders of Camarillo-based Advanced Motion Control, have donated $15,000 to Channel Islands Ballet. Part of the money will help install a new dance floor at the ballet’s studio at Cal State Channel Islands. The nonprofit ballet company is asking other area donors to match the recent gift for new equipment and the Arts for Youth educational programs. Channel Islands Ballet will join the New West Symphony and the Ventura Master Chorale Children’s Concert Choir for December’s performance of “The Nutcracker” at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center.
