Weed Notices and Parking at Issue
The City Council tonight will hear objections from residents who received weed-abatement notices and also consider recommendations for limiting parking in parts of the community.
The Traffic Committee has recommended installing time-limit parking on the Valley View Street service road from the city’s northern boundary to the alley near a Vons store and along Santa Catalina Avenue from the 3800 block to Valley View Street.
The commission also recommended installing a stop sign at Maureen and Barclay drives, and making a three-way stop at Winton Street and Vanguard Avenue.
The meeting begins at 6:45 p.m. in the council chamber, 11300 Stanford Ave.
