A Real-Life Chance to Bond With the Surf

Ingo Rademacher, who plays a nightclub manager wooing the two daughters of his boss (Victoria Principal) in Aaron Spelling’s ABC series “Titans,” has purchased a Pacific Palisades home. The asking price was $722,000.

The actor, 29, played Jasper “Jax” Jacks on ABC’s “General Hospital” for four seasons before joining “Titans” as David O’Connor. Rademacher was voted “Hottest Male Star” in 1998 by readers of Soap Opera Digest.

He guest starred in 1997 as a personal trainer on the NBC sitcom “Veronica’s Closet” and had a guest role in 1996 on the ABC sitcom “Clueless.” Before that, he played surfer Sean Hayden (1993-94) on the Australian soap “Paradise Beach,” which aired in syndication in the U.S.

Rademacher, born in West Germany, moved at age 10 with his family to Australia. He relocated to L.A. in 1994.

He bought a three-story ocean-view home on a bluff with three bedrooms in 3,200 square feet. Built in 1957, the house was described as contemporary.

Rademacher likes to be near the beach because he enjoys water sports and trains for Ironman competitions in his spare time.

Producer-director Roger Corman and his wife, Julie, have purchased a three-bedroom, 3,200-square-foot apartment on 5th Avenue in Manhattan for $3.5 million. They plan to divide their time between New York and Los Angeles. They have a home in Santa Monica.

He plans to spend time in New York promoting his new TV series, “Black Scorpion,” which he financed. It will debut on the Sci-Fi Channel on Jan. 5.

Julie Corman is chairman of the Graduate Department of New York University’s Film School.

Roger Corman, 74, has produced, co-produced or directed about 450 movies, most of them low budget. He counts among his “discoveries” Francis Ford Coppola, Martin Scorsese, Ron Howard, Jack Nicholson, Ellen Burstyn, Robert De Niro, Bruce Dern, Diane Ladd, Talia Shire, Peter Fonda and Charles Bronson.

He founded and sold New World Pictures, then established the production company Concorde-New Horizons with such movies as “Space Raiders” (1983) and “Reflections in the Dark” (1995).

German producer Kurt Silberschneider has listed his Sunset Strip-area home at about $1.3 million.

Silberschneider, executive producer of the movie “Tarzan and the Lost City” (1998), plans to live in Montreal while working on movie and TV projects. He is CEO of the German company Medien Capital Treuhand, one of the leading German media funds. He was head of Warner Bros.’ German operations for eight years.

His three-bedroom 3,000-square-foot home was built in the 1960s but was recently remodeled and has European fixtures, a pool, spa and waterfall; city-to-Catalina views, an outdoor entertainment bar, tropical gardens and a cabana with a shower and a tub.
