Galaxy Coach Sigi Schmid said Tim Luce, the Galaxy’s general manager and vice president of business operations, was in ongoing discussions with the Mexican Federation and hoped to have a resolution soon. In games played at the Rose Bowl, the Galaxy leads the series against the Wizards 6-2-2, with both ties coming this season, 0-0 on May 6 and 1-1 on Aug. 12. The Galaxy has outscored the Wizards, 25-18, in 21 matches, including 6-4 this season.
