A suspected drunk driver trying to elude police in Studio City on Wednesday hit six vehicles, including one driven by actress Priscilla Presley, authorities said. No one was seriously injured.

The 15-minute chase began after 32-year-old Jacek Zareba of Los Angeles struck two vehicles about 4 p.m. near Ventura and Valley Vista boulevards, authorities said. The drivers of both other vehicles suffered minor injuries.

During the chase, Zareba was eastbound on Ventura Boulevard in his Pontiac Trans-Am when he crossed the center line into oncoming traffic, said Los Angeles Police Officer Jason Lee.

Presley, who was westbound on Ventura near Laurel Canyon Boulevard, tried to avoid Zareba’s car, which clipped the left rear of her Land Rover, police said. She wasn’t injured, and her vehicle had minor damage.

Zareba struck three more vehicles before he surrendered in front of an apartment complex on the 4300 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, Lee said. No one else was injured.

Zareba was booked on suspicion of drunk driving, felony hit-and-run and evading arrest.
