GARDEN GROVE
Board members of the Garden Grove Unified School District on Tuesday unanimously approved an agreement to accept nearly $170,000 in tobacco tax revenue from the county’s Children and Families Commission.
The Proposition 10 money will pay for up to two district staff members, who will help start the School Readiness Program for pre-kindergartners. Staff members and the Boys & Girls Club of Garden Grove will run the two-year program.
