Residents have until Oct. 14 to return a questionnaire sent out by the Parks and Recreation Commission with their responses to a proposed 4- to 6-acre park project on the Joint Forces Training Base off Lexington Avenue. The survey includes a question on proposed lighting, a checklist of favored amenities and a place for comments and suggestions.
The commission will review the survey at a public meeting at the Community Center on Nov. 8. Information: (562) 430-1073.
