Premiere still set: The unexpected death Monday of actor David Dukes, 55, will not alter Pacific Symphony’s plans to play the world premiere live orchestra performance of the full-length documentary “The City,” Nov. 18 as part of its Aaron Copland Festival, said Pacific executive director John Forsyte. Dukes, who collapsed at a sports center during a day off from filming ABC’s miniseries “Rose Red,” was scheduled to narrate the screening of the 1939 film at the Orange County Performing Arts Center. The cause of his death apparently was a heart attack, according to Ed Duke of the Pierce County, Wash., medical examiner’s office. “We’re very sad to hear the news,” Forsyte said Monday. “He was a terrific actor. “ Information: (714) 755-5788.
