Nebraska’s Crouch Misses Practice
Nebraska quarterback Eric Crouch, hurting after the No. 1 Cornhuskers’ 49-27 victory at Iowa State, sat out practice to rest for Saturday’s game against Texas Tech.
Crouch had 19 carries for 138 yards and a touchdown against the Cyclones, but was hit hard several times.
It is the second time in the past month that Crouch has missed practice. He also missed time after Nebraska’s victory against Iowa.
Redshirt freshman Jammal Lord is Crouch’s backup.
Receiver Matt Davison also sat out practice because of injury but is due back today.
