CAYUCOS--A blessing by a Native American elder on Oct. 21 will kick off the Cayucos Music Festival and Ocean Front Fair. There will be world-beat, reggae and rock music, plus exhibits of artwork and Earth-friendly products. Afterward, relax or eat in the beer and wine garden. PISMO BEACH--A clam dig, steamed clams and a clam chowder cook-off will be highlights of the 54th annual Clam Festival, Oct. 20-22. Festivities include a three-day carnival, entertainment, a parade (10 a.m. Oct. 21), a kite fair (11 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 21), arts and crafts and more.
