No. 1 San Clemente 3, Capistrano Valley 0--Setter Lauren Boissevain had 39 assists and 13 digs for the Tritons (15-1, 6-0), who won, 15-10, 15-5, 16-14.

No. 7 Esperanza 3, Fountain Valley 0--Sarah Engle had 12 kills and 19 assists for visiting Esperanza (9-3, 6-0), which won, 15-5, 15-7, 15-4.
In Century League boys’ cross-country:
Santa Ana Valley wins--Jose Bustos finished second in 16:11 at Irvine Park to lead the Falcons to their fifth consecutive undefeated league season. El Modena’s Tim Aukshunas won in 16:06.
In the Golden West League:
No. 2 Santa Ana 23, No. 9 Tustin 36--Alonso Smith remained undefeated for Tustin (3-1), winning in 15:19. Jose Cholula was second in 15:25 for visiting Santa Ana (4-0).
In the Sunset League:
No. 4 Edison wins--Scott Brandos (15:13) finished second for the Chargers (5-0), who defeated Marina, 22-34, and Huntington Beach, 15-40. Marina’s Raemon Rodriguez won the race in 15:00.
In Sunset League girls’ cross-country:
No. 5 Fountain Valley wins--Julie Allen finished first in 17:22 at Yorba Regional Park for Fountain Valley, which placed three runners in the top five to defeat No. 4 Esperanza, 23-32, and Los Alamitos, 19-39.
In Golden West League girls’ tennis:
Ocean View 12, Westminster 6--Ocean View (15-0, 10-0) won its second consecutive league title with its 22nd consecutive league victory.
