I would like to thank the Times Ventura County Edition for this fine article and great photos. It is refreshing to see an upbeat article on the volunteer work done by Scouts.

Scouting represents the largest volunteer group in the United States. Public service is important in Scouting; it is the cornerstone for rank advancement and the growth of our youth into responsible, sensitive and caring citizens of our community.
