The El Modena Library will hold a hamster race at 2 p.m. Nov. 18 as part of Children’s Book Week activities. Children ages 5 to 12 can sign up to race their hamsters. Prizes will be awarded to winners. Those without hamsters are invited to watch.
Registration begins Nov. 6. The race will be held in the library’s community room, 380 S. Hewes St.
